The Transplant Health Fund (THF; Registered Charity Number 1154683) was established in 2012 to help patients who have had transplants and assist associated others. Its primary aims are:
To promote and protect the health of persons living with organ transplants;
To assist in the treatment and care of persons needing transplantation or similar care by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and services not normally provided by the statutory authorities;
Improve access to information and services for both patients and those who look after them.
Our aims
We fundraise through various activities (such as walks and race nights) in order to provide funding for transplant patients for:
1) To promote and protect the health of persons living with organ transplants;
2) To assist in the treatment and care of persons needing transplantation or similar care by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and services not normally provided by the statutory authorities;
3) Improve access to information and services for both patients and those who look after them.
